Revling
Revling is the Nordic superfood. It is a protective antioxidant that soothes irritated, delicate and sensitive skin. Revling fights the inflammation that causes the skin to swell, redden and sometimes burn. When your skin is calmer, it will therefore look much more even and uniform. Since Revling is also astringent, it ensures that the skin does not dry out due to irritations.
Revling is fantastic for protecting the skin from external irritations and degradation (oxidative stress), and this is just what a delicate and irritated skin needs. If you spend a lot of time outside, or stay in a place with a poor indoor climate, the Revling extract will protect your skin from degradation.
Brown algae
Natural algae extract that boosts the skin with antioxidants and fights inflammation.
Deep Sea Mineral
The deep-sea chimneys spew up seawater after it has swirled around in the earth's scalding interior. Seawater brings with it from the earth's interior large quantities of mineral substances. They are called deep sea minerals, and they fight inflammation, provide moisture and improve the condition and color of the skin. They are also known to soothe almost all kinds of skin ailments by strengthening the skin's tissue - and probably most of all by maintaining the chemical balance.
The minerals stimulate the skin's blood circulation and help remove toxins, and they strengthen the cell membrane against drying out and daily damage (oxidative stress). The deep-sea minerals' high magnesium content protects the skin from external damage as they regulate cellular regeneration and repair, increasing recovery when the skin is disturbed and strength when under attack. All the many minerals help to improve the condition and color of the skin.
SpectraFlex
Mineral greenish pigment that evens out redness and gives a uniform glow. In Calm, I have mixed regular green color with a transparent green color - that is, two different types of makeup ingredients. SpectraFlex is a pigment consisting of sheets of transparent aluminum oxide coated with a thin layer of titanium dioxide. It is therefore transparent, but it absorbs all colors except green, which is sent back. It's a bit like when you look at a soap bubble or a seashell, both of which have all the colors - we just use the green one. In color theory, we know that red light cancels out green light. So the redness in your skin will be washed out and you will have a more even and natural skin tone – especially when I mix it with regular green pigment and the green algae.
Color pigments and SpectraFlex are both completely natural, and the effect of mixing them is not only a naturally soft skin color – it also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by ensuring that light diffusion is evenly distributed on the skin's surface.
Work Calm well into the skin - then you will see the green color disappear and the natural glow appear.
Vitamin B3
Soothes the skin and prevents redness. Nicotinamide is a special water-soluble B₃-Vitamin, namely an amide (also called niacinamide). We find the largest content in the oldest rye varieties such as swedjer rye, which have been cultivated in the north since the year 0.
The B3 vitamin is tolerated by all skin types, and it helps the example and irritated skin to be able to tolerate other auxiliary ingredients. It is therefore good for all skin types and especially in the fight against atopic skin, eczema, rosacea or perioral dermatitis.
Nicotinamide helps repair damaged DNA and reduces the immunosuppressive effects of sun-induced UV rays – the so-called oxidative stress factors. Put in Danish, B3 helps against the breakdown of your skin and premature signs of aging such as discoloration and wrinkles. Research has not come to a full understanding of how this B vitamin shrinks pores, but it does.
SPF 30
Protection against cell degradation is not insignificant, and the greatest damage comes from the sun's rays. That is why I have of course added SPF30 to your new Face Cream, so that you no longer have to think about your skin's protection.
I have chosen a combination based on the following parameters:
They are all free of hormone-disrupting substances, and they are all approved and supported by the Nordic Ecolabel, Asthma Allergy Nordic and AllergyCertified.
I have opted out of physical sun filters, as in an SPF30 they will leave a white film on the skin, and the physical nanofilters are not approved by Ecocert COSMOS.
I have chosen the most gentle in terms of protection, health, your skin and our environment.
Chemical sunscreens contain substances that penetrate the upper layer of the skin. When the UV rays hit the skin, the filter absorbs the UV radiation so that it does not reach the lower skin layers and cause damage. The chemical sun filters cannot be seen on the skin and therefore act as an invisible protection.
Chlorella Vulgaris algae

Chlorella Vulgaris algae has powerful anti-irritation benefits – mainly due to the fact that it is a rich source of carotenoids: a family of nutrients that, when absorbed into the skin, protect against the harmful effects of UV rays and pollution ( oxidative stress). That is that the algae helps against eczema, rosacea, sunburn, pigmentation, irritations and the like.
Chlorella Vulgaris extract is full of essential building blocks for new skin and new collagen. Its large amino acid component provides the ability to restructure and smooth the surface of the skin – especially with scarred, irritated, inflamed or aging skin.
In addition, other studies have shown that it can increase skin firmness and reduce stretch marks.
